Beauty in Singapore: check it yourself

Singapore has no downloadable list of aesthetic clinics, so we don't rank clinics here. These are the official records you can check in a few minutes.

Ask Soram about Singapore

Before you book

  1. The clinic is licensed

Every clinic in Singapore needs a licence from the Ministry of Health. Search the clinic's name in the HealthHub directory.

  2. The doctor is registered — and in which specialty

Search the doctor's name in the Medical Council's register. It shows whether they're a registered specialist, such as in dermatology or plastic surgery, and where they practise.

    SMC register ↗
  3. This doctor may do this procedure

Under the Medical Council's guidelines, some aesthetic procedures need a certificate of competence and some are for specialists only. Ask which applies to yours and who will do it.

  4. The product is approved

Fillers, toxins and devices are regulated by the Health Sciences Authority. Ask for the product name and amount in writing.

  5. Nothing on the watchlist

The Ministry of Health lists unlicensed and illegal practices it has acted on.

Why there's no clinic list

The Ministry of Health directory lets you look clinics up one at a time, and the Medical Council's register doesn't allow its results to be republished. We only judge clinics from records we can read in full, so for Singapore we show you where to check instead.
